Ø  Ganga River Starts In the Himalayan mountains in india. Ganga Forms where Bhagirathi and alakananda rivers meet .

Ø  It travels nearly 2525 km from Himalayas to bay of Bengal.

Ø  Ganga tributaries are divided into two types.

ü  Left bank tributaries:
